Concerns about food and nutrition have been a constant among the associations. In underserved areas, a lack of time and economic constraints often lead to lower-quality food choices, with a tendency to favour fast and inexpensive meals. In an effort to challenge this pattern and raise awareness about the impact of healthy eating, the JOY Food collective led a workshop at Espaço Mundo. JOY creates food, experiences, and atmospheres designed to bring joy to those who take part – creatively and disruptively rethinking what it means to eat well.
